About Me
I specialize in helping adults navigate anxiety, depression, ADHD, and trauma — especially men who've been told to "tough it out." That advice doesn't work, and I'm not here to repeat it.
Before becoming a psychiatric NP, I spent five years as an ER nurse. I saw firsthand what happens when mental health goes untreated: it shows up in the body, in relationships, in work, in everything. That experience shapes how I practice today.
My approach is straightforward. We'll talk honestly about what's going on, figure out what's actually helping versus what's just coping, and build a plan that makes sense for your life. Sometimes that includes medication. Sometimes it doesn't. Either way, you'll understand the reasoning behind every recommendation.
Common Reasons Patients See Me
My Approach
I combine medication management with psychoeducation and practical strategies. I don't believe in overmedicating or undermedicating — I believe in right-sizing treatment to your actual needs. I also believe therapy and medication work better together, so I coordinate closely with therapists when appropriate.
